Random number generator
Zouhar, Petr ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Sobotka, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with issues of random numbers, their generating and use in cryptography. Introduction of work is aimed to resolution of random number generators and pseudo--random number generators. There is also included often used dividing generators on software and hardware. We mention advantages and disadvantages of each type and area of their use. Then we describe examples of random and pseudorandom numbers, mainly hardware based on physical phenomenon such as the decay of radioactive material or use atmospheric noise. The following part is devoted to suggestion own random number generator and a description of its functionality. In the second half of the work we devote to the field of cryptography. We know basic types of cryptographic systems, namely symmetric and asymmetric cryptosystems. We introduce a typical representant the various type and their properties. At the end of the work we again return to our random number generator and verify the randomness generated numbers and obtained cryptograms.
Random number generators evaluation
Svoboda, Martin ; Sikora, Marek (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
The topic of the thesis is random numbers and the problem of their testing. The thesis presents methods of generating random numbers and many statistical tests of randomness. Part of the work is a description of an application created for testing random numbers, which contains a set of 23 statistical tests of randomness and 5 integrated generators. In the last chapter, various types of generators and keys created by quantum key distribution are tested using the application.

Risk Analysis using Crystal Ball
Krátká, Kateřina ; Jablonský, Josef (advisor) ; Kuncová, Martina (referee)
The thesis is focused on risk and uncertainty in decision theory. It introduces principles of choosing the best alternative in case of uncertainty and risk, as well as different ways how to quantify and manage the risk, therefore the risk management. The thesis also discusses simulation, definition of random numbers and generating of these numbers. Monte Carlo method is widely used in this area. One of the applications based on Monte Carlo method is Crystal Ball; detailed description of this application is also mentioned. At the close, an example of the capital project valuation is provided as the demonstration of Crystal Ball application.
